Star Assembly – Friday 15th March 2024

In today’s Star Assembly we  found out about the incredible things these children have been achieving in class. It was so pleasing to hear how much they are all using our school behaviours for learning and how they are helping them to improve in lessons.

Well done to all these children:

Y6 – Imogen and Abdullahi Q

Y5 – Haniya and Reva

Y4 – Edey and Thomas S

Y3 – Issey and Alanna

Y2 – Ollie and Kadi

Y1 – Mohammed and Kodie

Reception – Jaxon and Evie

Miss Williams’ Star of the School – Anren

Mr Ball’s Star of the School – Summer

We are always excited to find out about our children’s achievements outside school. Our talented family shared their dance medals:

Well done to Kinda, Declan, Emma, Esme and Lilly-Rose for their fantastic medals and certificates. You are all amazing!

We also had our next round of Classopoly. We are using this game as recognition of and an incentive for good class attendance. We know how important it is that children attend school every day. Our school target for attendance is 96% so the class with the highest attendance each week will roll to win in Classopoly. Any class with 100% attendance will automatically win a roll!

Here are our attendance figures:

Swans – 99%

Puffins – 96%

Toucans – 97%

Bluebirds – 97%

Robins – 96%

Kestrels – 98%

Eagles – 92%

This meant our Swans had their first ever roll on Classopoly! Well done Swans!

Also as part of Star Assembly, we are rewarding children who make the most of our school subscriptions to EdShed and Times Table Rock Stars. This week we celebrated Ryan at the top of the leaderboard for Spelling Shed and Tyler S at the top for Maths Shed. Well done both! We also celebrated our Times Tables Rock Stars!
