Basketball tournament

Our mixed basketball team

On Monday 1st December we played in a basketball tournament at St Laurence Junior School in Northfield. For us, the tournament was a friendly as we have already qualified for the finals at Baverstock Academy on Friday 12th December. We played in a round robin with St Laurence and Princethorpe. Our first game was against a very strong St Laurence side. The score was 26 – 20 to St Laurence in a very close contest. We played very well and showed a great deal of determination particularly when under pressure. Our second game we won 24 – 12 and by the end of the tournament every player had scored a basket. We’re now looking forward to playing in the finals on Friday 12th December.
