Our school qualified to participate in the Birmingham School Games Quick Sticks Hockey Finals on Wednesday 11th February 2015 at the Birmingham Futsal Stadium.

We had a fantastic experience as we competed with and alongside finalists from all over Birmingham. All teams participating had, like us, qualified to participate by winning their regional tournaments in many different sports. The Sports Festival was opened by Ellie Simmonds OBE winner of 13 World Titles, 5 European Titles and 8 World Records. We had a chance to meet her and to hear about her route to success before the start of the games.

We played in a league competing in 4 games during the day and we finished joint second, however we narrowly missed the semi-final stage due to goal difference.

Scores were as follows:
Bells Farm 0 Woodthorpe 0
Bells Farm 1 St Laurence 2
Bells Farm 3 Cherry Orchard 1
Bells Farm 1 Sommerville 0
