Children and Parents visit Kings Norton Library

The ‘Racing to Read’ group of parents and children spent this morning at Kings Norton Library. We had a wonderful time.

First parents and children registered their library cards. We listened to a story and then spent time looking and choosing from all the wonderful books. The children (and adults!) can take home ten books each. The staff were very helpful and would love to see more parents visiting the library – so if you get the chance please pay them a visit.

All of Bells Farm children now have a library card and all parents can fill in a simple form and get a card as well. Watch this space to find out about the other exciting things we are doing in our ‘Racing to Read’ group this term.

What a wonderful trip to the library we all had! It was lovely to see the children (and adults) so engaged and enjoying diving into so many different books! Hope you are all ready for the next exciting instalment! 🙂 We have really seen some wonderful enthusiasm for reading! Keep it up!
