Children’s work during Computer Science Week

It’s been a fun week, not just because of Christmas round the corner, but it’s also been Computer Science Week at Bells Farm.

Children have been learning the basics of Computer Science, trying to understand the key vocabulary such as algorithms, debugging and repetition.

The week included two assemblies from Mr Baddhan, one informing children about what Computer Science is and the shortage of programmers in the real world. The second assembly demonstrated Purple Mash and how to create 3D games within Purple Mash.

Along the week, each class produced some fabulous work. Some took part in ‘Hour of Code’ – building games such as Angry Bird and Flappy Bird. And others learning about the basics of programming.

As always, visit each class’ individual blogs to see the wonderful work they’ve got upto during the week.
