Competition Winners

During our World Book Week the children were challenged to make their own books.

The rules:

• Their book must have a title and illustration on the front.
• They may handwrite or type it.
• The book they make can be any size they wish and any length they wish.
• It can be any genre – adventure, magical, factual, poetry…

There were some absolutely FANTASTIC entries! It was extremely difficult to choose just one winner so instead we had three! There were also lots of runner-ups and everyone who entered received a special certificate. The books that were made are now in our school library for everyone to enjoy.

Here are the runner-ups:

Here are the overall winners! Well done Sophie, Amaya and Alex R.

Nyeema, Yusuf and Ryan also won prizes for their thoughtful book reviews on their reading passports for ERIC’s challenge.
