Autumn Disco
We are having our Autumn Disco on Friday 7th November starting straight after school at 3:30 and ending at 5:30. This event will involve a disco with lights, autumn-themed games in classrooms and craft activities in the dining hall. Hopefully, this means there will be something every child can enjoy. We will be serving food, cakes and drinks included in the price of the ticket. Please note – there will be no normal wraparound care on this date as all staff will be required to support with the disco. There should be something for everyone so we do hope this doesn’t impact too much.
The cost for attending the disco will be £5 per child. Tickets can be purchased from class teachers every day from Monday 20th October up until Wednesday 5th November. Please note tickets cannot be sold after this date as we will need to purchase food and prepare numbers. Your child’s name will also be recorded on a list meaning it is not a problem if they lose their ticket.
Your child should attend school in normal uniform. They are welcome to bring ‘party clothes’ in a bag to change into for the disco.
In order for children to participate in the disco, we remind you that they should be picked up promptly at 5:30. As with previous events, we would like you to pick your children up from their normal door.
Please note that, as in all collections of children, you will need to inform the school office by 2:00 if a friend or relative not known to us is collecting your child.
Finally, as the dark nights are underway, no child will be permitted to walk home alone even if they normally walk home at 3.30 pm. This is again for their safety and well-being. Thank you for your understanding.
