Family Support Worker

Bells Farm has a Family Support Worker and Attendance Officer who aims to ensure that children’s attendance is above the National Expectation of 95% and punctuality is of a high standard.  Simone can provide advice and support or simply help you to contact the best people to sort out your issues. She aims to be friendly and approachable and always have a smile and a helpful word whatever the problem.

You can usually find Simone daily in the playground or at the main entrance between 9.00am – 9.20am or 2.50pm-3.10pm (A private meeting room is available for confidential chats).

Hello. My name is Simone, I am the Family Support Worker and Attendance Officer based at Bells Farm. I have 10 years family support experience and are familiar with the local area and service providers.  I am committed to safeguarding children and work as part of a universal team, who strives to ensure that all children have the best future possible. I am also a working mum of two and know what it is like to look after a family and are aware of all the challenges, you may face along the journey.  I would really like to hear from you, if there is anything I can do to help please do not hesitate to have a chat with me.

What support is available?
Our family support worker is available to help you on a whole range of issues from housing, benefits, debt, depression, finding nursery places,  advice on domestic violence, managing your child’s behaviour, child protection concerns, attendance difficulties or simply to be a friendly supportive ear if you need help or someone to talk too. If she can’t help directly then “she will know someone who can!”
