Marie Curie fundraising photos

Well done to the whole school for getting involved in the ‘Marie Curie Mini Pots of Care!’ All the children came in their own clothes on Friday 5th December and brought in donations to help raise much needed funds for the charity!

It looks like lots of the children had great fun spending a part of the day planting their own daffodils! Some children even decorated their surround for the pot and others learnt abut the parts of a daffodil plant!

Now all they need to do is help the plants through the cold winter, ready for Springtime when they should see them starting to grow. I wonder whose daffodil will start to grow first!

Well done again, to all those children who brought in donations. Donation envelopes were sent home too, some of which have started to come back- the race is on to see which class raises the most!
Look out for the running total on the Daffometer in the main entrance.
