Our First Chicks!

Our first two chicks have now hatched! One was already hatched in the early hours of the morning and then Miss Williams watched the other one hatch at 5:53 this morning. It was very exciting! Hopefully, some more will hatch during the day today and the children can watch from their classrooms via the webcam.

We will now leave them in the incubator for 24 hours and then move them to the brooding box. Who knows how many more might hatch today?! Watch this space…
