Parent workshops: e-Safety and supporting children write

Two separate parent workshops focusing on e-Safety and another on supporting children write have been held today.

Bells Farm continue to offer opportunities to engage parents/carers in their child’s learning.

The e-Safety workshop hosted by Mr Baddhan – e-Safety Co-ordinator, focused on parental controls and social media. The session included demonstrations on parental controls options using some technology devices. Feedback from parents was very positive and it was wonderful to see so many parents attend.

In the second event today, Year one parents attended a workshop supporting children with their writing. Parents learnt about the ways in which they can help improve their child’s writing and the sort of tools and ideas we use in school.

The children were also involved and spent time working alongside their parents. Feedback was very positive and we look forward to seeing all the wonderful work that the children will produce in the forthcoming weeks.
