Parents were recently invited to a Phonics Workshop for parents of Reception class. The aim of the workshop was to inform parents about the role phonics plays in children learning to read and write, to explain how phonics is taught in school and to show parents how they can help their children with reading and writing at home in an enjoyable and informal way.

The fun and informative morning, which took place on Thursday (13th November) was enjoyed by all staff, parents and children.
