Remembrance Day assembly

Today we held an assembly about Remembrance Day. Mrs Butterworth spoke about the importance of the day. The children learned that 11th November marks the end of the First World War. And we remember and we thank the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve for our freedom.

Mr Gill performed the Last Post using the bugle, a musical instrument.

On Monday, the children will be served a Remembrance Day themed lunch.
