Star Assembly – Friday 15th November 2024

In today’s Star Assembly we  found out about the incredible things these children have been achieving in class. It was so pleasing to hear how much they are all using our school behaviours for learning and how they are helping them to improve in lessons.

Well done to all these children:

Y6 – Leximai and Reva

Y5 –  Juwayriya and Leah

Y4 – Jenson and Rohalia

Y3 – Leiah and Jacob

Y2 – Kavy and Mohammed

Y1 – Marty and Harry

We are always excited to find out about our children’s achievements outside school. This week we celebrated:

  • Lilly-Rose for support the local community and West Midlands Police with a litter picking event
  • Kaiden for continued progress with his swimming; he can swim 5 meters and is now working on stage 3
  • Elias has participated in a team taekwondo event for charity
  • Jenson, Declan, Tyler S and Mason have all been ‘Man of the match’ at their football clubs
  • Sam and Freya have competed in BMX competitions (9 of them!)

Outstanding achievements everyone!

We then celebrated the following children for their achievements on TTRS. These children earned the most coins by playing most across the school:

We also had our next round of Classopoly. We are using this game as recognition of and an incentive for good class attendance. We know how important it is that children attend school every day. Our school target for attendance is 96% so the class with the highest attendance each week will roll to win in Classopoly. Any class with 100% attendance will automatically win a roll!

Here are our attendance figures for each class:

Swans – 93%

Puffins – 96%

Toucans – 97%

Bluebirds – 95%

Robins – 100%

Kestrels – 95%

Eagles – 95%

Well done to Robins – a perfect 100% won them the roll on Classopoly… and they won the treasure chest! They chose extra playtime which they will enjoyed in the afternoon.
