Star Assembly – Friday 25th October 2024
In today’s Star Assembly we found out about the incredible things these children have been achieving in class. It was so pleasing to hear how much they are all using our school behaviours for learning and how they are helping them to improve in lessons.
Well done to all these children:
Y6 – Sam and Amudha
Y5 – Salaf and Hudaifa
Y4 – Ebony and Esme
Y3 – Lilly-Rose and Karim
Y2 – Andrei and Lily-Rose
Y1 – Ari-Ray and Shairwan
We are always excited to find out about our children’s achievements outside school. This week we celebrated Elena’s dancing certificate which was hot off the press as she only received it last night!
We then celebrated the following children for their achievements on TTRS. These children earned the most coins by playing most across the school:
Each half term, Mrs Ville and Mr Shepherd are awarding children from across school who demonstrate our PE values in all lessons. These children received a certificate and a very special badge to wear with pride! Well done to:
Bethany Y6
Hudaifa Y5
Khaleel Y1
Ollie Y3
Zayna Y2
Jacob Y4
We also had our next round of Classopoly. We are using this game as recognition of and an incentive for good class attendance. We know how important it is that children attend school every day. Our school target for attendance is 96% so the class with the highest attendance each week will roll to win in Classopoly. Any class with 100% attendance will automatically win a roll!
Here are our attendance figures for each class:
Swans – 94%
Puffins – 92%
Toucans – 99%
Bluebirds – 95%
Robins – 97%
Kestrels – 95%
Eagles – 98%
Well done to Toucans who won a roll on Classopoly and landed on the treasure! They chose to have Golden Time in class this afternoon. Well done!
