Star Assembly – Friday 26th September 2025
Today we enjoyed our special Star Assembly where we found out about the incredible things these children have been achieving in class. It was so pleasing to hear how much they are all using our school behaviours for learning and how they are helping them to improve in lessons.
Y6 – Khayri and Isabel
Y5 – Elena and Rohalia
Y4 – Henry and Annie
Y3 – Tina and Freddie
Y2 – Kady and Raphael
Y1 – Mya and Sanav
This week’s Star of the School was Jonah from Year 6 for being positive and enthusiastic learner!
We are always excited to find out about our children’s achievements outside school. Elena has been chosen as ‘Dancer of the Week’ at her dance class again! She is enjoying a range of dance types.
Emma, Lucy, Lilly-Rose and K’mya have all taken part in a dance competition. They all took part in different types of dance and received several medals – bronze, silver and GOLD! They have to be very committed and attend lessons regularly. Well done girls!
We celebrated these children for their achievements using TTRS:
We also had our next round of Classopoly. We are using this game as recognition of and an incentive for good class attendance. We know how important it is that children attend school every day. Our school target for attendance is 96% so the class with the highest attendance each week will roll to win in Classopoly. Any class with 100% attendance will automatically win a roll!
Here are our attendance figures for each class:
Swans – 99%
Puffins – 92%
Toucans – 86%
Bluebirds – 96%
Robins – 96%
Kestrels – 95%
Eagles – 98%
Well done Swans! We now owe them two Classopoly rolls when they attend their first Star Assembly. Eagles won a roll for being the next highest attenders.
