Star Assembly – Friday 27th September 2024

In today’s Star Assembly we  found out about the incredible things these children have been achieving in class. It was so pleasing to hear how much they are all using our school behaviours for learning and how they are helping them to improve in lessons.

Miss Williams also had the privilege of choosing a Star of the School! This is a very special award for someone we have noticed from any class across school for being a role model for our school. Well done to Issey Y4.

We are always excited to find out about our children’s achievements outside school. This week we celebrated Thomas’ diorama (very impressive!) and Joshua’s Blue Peter badge. What a wonderful thing to have Josh!

We also had our next round of Classopoly. We are using this game as recognition of and an incentive for good class attendance. We know how important it is that children attend school every day. Our school target for attendance is 96% so the class with the highest attendance each week will roll to win in Classopoly. Any class with 100% attendance will automatically win a roll!

Here are our attendance figures for each class:

Puffins – 92%

Toucans – 95%

Bluebirds – 97.2%

Robins – 96%

Kestrels – 97.5%

Eagles – 95%

Kestrels won a roll on Classopoly.
