Star Assembly – Friday 29th November 2024

In today’s Star Assembly we  found out about the incredible things these children have been achieving in class. It was so pleasing to hear how much they are all using our school behaviours for learning and how they are helping them to improve in lessons.

Well done to all these children:

Y6 – Alex S and Bethany

Y5 – Thomas S and Massera

Y4 – Autumn and Rosie

Y3 – Evin and Joseph

Y2 – Emily and Alfie

Y1 – Lucy and Sureyah

Reception – Perci and Harry

Miss Williams’ Star of the School this week was Amudha Y6 for being the perfect Bells Farm role model!

We are always excited to find out about our children’s achievements outside school. This week we celebrated Elias again for his Taekwondo! He won 2 gold medals – one individual and one team. We also had a special mention for Laken Y4 who has filmed a section for a BBC programme ‘I can do it, you can too!’ where she demonstrates her ariel hammock skills! She did an amazing job in the programme of teaching another child how to do this incredible skill she has! You can watch the episode Laken is in here: I Can Do It, You Can Too – Series 2: 8. Race Start and Aerial Hammock – BBC iPlayer

Outstanding achievements!

We also had our next round of Classopoly. We are using this game as recognition of and an incentive for good class attendance. We know how important it is that children attend school every day. Our school target for attendance is 96% so the class with the highest attendance each week will roll to win in Classopoly. Any class with 100% attendance will automatically win a roll!

Here are our attendance figures for each class:

Swans – 93%

Puffins – 94%

Toucans – 95%

Bluebirds – 93%

Robins – 94%

Kestrels – 98%

Eagles – 94%

Well done to Kestrels – 98% won them the roll on Classopoly!
