Star Assembly – Friday 6th October 2023
In today’s Star Assembly we found out about the incredible things these children have been achieving in class. It was so pleasing to hear how much they are all using our school behaviours for learning and how they are helping them to improve in lessons.

We also had our next round of Classopoly. We are using this game as recognition of and an incentive for good class attendance. We know how important it is that children attend school every day. Our school target for attendance is 96% so the class with the highest attendance each week will roll to win in Classopoly. Any class with 100% attendance will automatically win a roll! The children were very excited in this morning’s assembly as the first round was underway. Here are our attendance figures 28th September – 5th October:
Swans – 95%
Puffins – 99%
Toucans – 94%
Bluebirds – 99%
Robins – 99%
Kestrels – 99%
Eagles – 197%
99% is so close to the perfect 100% that all those classes with 99% won a roll this week!
Also as part of Star Assembly, we are rewarding children who make the most of our school subscription to EdShed. This week we celebrated Yusuf at the top of the leaderboard for spelling and Ethan at the top for maths. Well done both!
