Video: ‘Free the Children’ thank our children

This year our children have taken part in ‘Free the Children’ project. The project aims to help raise awareness of the issues affecting young children here in the UK and around the world.

As part of the project a group of children attended a ‘WE day’ event at Wembley stadium and listened to some inspirational stories about how we can create change in the world.

The children at Bells Farm worked hard to raise money for one local and one global cause. We raised money for Marie Curie and we also collected change (Change for Change) which we have sent to Free the children in order to support villages in buying a goat. This enables villages to become more sustainable and as a result provides people with the resources to send children to school and provide them with books.

By the end of the summer we had collected £200 in change. However, the money kept rolling in and to date we have collected £268.40p. This money has been sent to Free the children and they have sent back a video of thanks.

We aim to continue with this project next year and again raise money for good causes.

Bells Farm – we are really proud of you!!
