Y1 Art Workshop

In Year 1’s Art workshop, the children explored the theme of connection through the medium of photography! The children created their own self-portrait collages where they drew illustrations and wrote captions that represented what or who they feel connected to. They also conveyed this through taking photos of themselves using props and thinking about their facial expressions. It was wonderful to see the children get so creative and reflective as they created their inventive images with their adults! The children will hone their photography skills further this week as they direct and film their very own short film inspired by The Secret Garden!
