Y6 Residential – Day 3
Year 6 woke up feeling excited but a little sad that it was their last day!
They enjoyed another full breakfast (parents – cereal isn’t going to be an option when they return!) before doing their final activity; low ropes. This was a team building task which they were excellent at as we focus highly on teaching teamwork skills at Bells Farm. They all worked really well together!
Over the week, the children were awarded tokens with one person being chosen after each activity. Tokens were given for a range of qualities including showing perseverance, demonstrating skills and being brave. These children won the tokens:
The children had one final group photo before having lunch and setting off for a nap on the coach home!
What a wonderful week they have had! Well done Y6 – you did everyone proud. Your behaviour was impeccable and your listening skills, concentration and teamwork were commented on by all the staff at the centre.
Also, a hugh thank you has to go to Miss Edwards and Mrs Johnson for giving up their own time to give the children such a wonderful experience. THANK YOU!
