Year 3 Visit West Midlands Safari Park 🦁🚌

On Monday 20th April, Year 3 had a fantastic day out on their trip to West Midlands Safari Park, filled with amazing animals and unforgettable experiences. The excitement started as soon as they arrived, ready for a day of learning and adventure!

The day began on the safari drive where the children were thrilled to see animals up close from the coach. They spotted lions resting together, towering giraffes, striped zebras, huge elephants and even rhinos making their way across the safari plains. The baby giraffes and rhinos were very cute!

After the safari drive, they explored the walking areas of the park. They watched the playful penguins swimming and waddling around, laughed at the meerkats popping in and out of their burrows and observed the lemurs huddled up together.

To finish the day, they all sat down to enjoy the sea lion show. The children loved watching the sea lions show off their skills,  clapping along to music and following their trainers’ instructions. It was a wonderful end to a brilliant day.

The children were a credit to the school, showing excellent behaviour and enthusiasm throughout the trip which was commented on by members of the public. Well done Bluebirds!
