Star Assembly 21st June 2024
In today’s Star Assembly we found out about the incredible things these children have been achieving in class. It was so pleasing to hear how much they are all using our school behaviours for learning and how they are helping them to improve in lessons.

Well done to all these children:
Y6 – Andrew and Evelyne
Y5 – Jack and Skye
Y4 – Juwayriya and Isla
Y3 – Harry and Ethan
Y2 – Henry and Ryleigh
Y1 – Xiu and Rishi
Reception – Oliver and Sureyah
Miss Williams also had the privilege of choosing TWO ‘Stars of the School’ today! This is a very special award for someone we have noticed from any class across school for being a role model for our school. Well done to Zi Yan (Y6) and Ellis (Y1).
We are always excited to find out about our children’s achievements outside school. This week we celebrated Emma’s award for tap dancing (very impressive!), Lorise’s trophy for football and Esme’s swimming.
Elias has attended another two competitions (one in Wales!) and won gold and silver at one and gold and bronze at another. Outstanding!
We also had our next round of Classopoly. We are using this game as recognition of and an incentive for good class attendance. We know how important it is that children attend school every day. Our school target for attendance is 96% so the class with the highest attendance each week will roll to win in Classopoly. Any class with 100% attendance will automatically win a roll!
Here are our attendance figures for each class:
Swans – 85%
Puffins – 88%
Toucans – 88%
Bluebirds – 92%
Robins – 89%
Kestrels – 90%
Eagles – 90%
Bluebirds won a roll on Classopoly.
