Star Assembly – Friday 9th May 2025
Today we enjoyed our special Star Assembly where we found out about the incredible things these children have been achieving in class. It was so pleasing to hear how much they are all using our school behaviours for learning and how they are helping them to improve in lessons.
Y6 – Olivia and Anren
Y5 – Khayri and Rosalea
Y4 – Kane and Justin
Y3 – Micah and Leo
Y2 – Jacob and Rishi
Y1 – Charlie and Carter
Reception – Arthur and Amaya
Star of the School – Skye (Y6)
We are always excited to find out about our children’s achievements outside school. This week we celebrated lots of children! Summer and Elena have both received dance certificates for their team work and skills. Max can now swim 10 METERS – this incredible as he is only in Y1! Esmee and Isla have received their first ever Blue Peter badges for their writing skills. Elias has more medals for his Taeknowdo but also received his first award for kickboxing which is amazing! Justin shared his Kung Fu awards – he now has white, orange AND blue belts! Well done everyone – you all show real dedication to your talents.
We celebrated these children for their achievements using TTRS:
We also had our next round of Classopoly. We are using this game as recognition of and an incentive for good class attendance. We know how important it is that children attend school every day. Our school target for attendance is 96% so the class with the highest attendance each week will roll to win in Classopoly. Any class with 100% attendance will automatically win a roll!
Here are our attendance figures for each class:
Swans – 98.6%
Puffins – 95%
Toucans – 96%
Bluebirds – 93%
Robins – 96%
Kestrels – 97%
Eagles – 98%
Well done to Swans who won their first ever roll on Classopoly!
