Star Assembly – Friday 18th November 2025
Today we enjoyed our special Star Assembly where we found out about the incredible things these children have been achieving in class. It was so pleasing to hear how much they are all using our school behaviours for learning and how they are helping them to improve in lessons.
Y6 – Erin and Ollie
Y5 – Lorise and Summer
Y4 – Harry and Mona
Y3 – Andrei and Lillie
Y2 – Jasmine and Lucy
Y1 – Willow and Oluwayanmife
Reception – Thomas and Evelyn
This week’s Star of the School was Lashaun from Y2 for showing perseverance and resiliance in the classroom.
We are always excited to find out about our children’s achievements outside school. Archie was chosen to play in Birmingham City Foundation Team – he even scored a goal! Mason was Player of the Week at football. Beaux has completed a Minecraft AI course and Oliver had a medal for his rugby skills. Lilly-Rose and Lucy won first place in a dance competition!
We celebrated these children for their achievements using TTRS:
We also had our next round of Classopoly. We are using this game as recognition of and an incentive for good class attendance. We know how important it is that children attend school every day. Our school target for attendance is 96% so the class with the highest attendance each week will roll to win in Classopoly. Any class with 100% attendance will automatically win a roll!
Here are our attendance figures for each class:
Swans – 90%
Puffins – 88%
Toucans – 90%
Bluebirds – 94%
Robins – 95%
Kestrels – 95%
Eagles – 98%
Well done Eagles who won a roll on Classopoly!
