In Phonics today Miss Bowkett’s group continued to learn how to use an apostrophe. As well as for contracting words, they learned that apostrophes can show who something belongs to.

I wonder if anyone in this group can remember the rule if there is more than one person (plurals)?

Can you put the apostrophes into these sentences?
The ladies dresses were pink.
The mens shoes were broken.
The party was at Claires house.
The coat was in James car.
The monkeys tails were curly.
