Year 5 finish third overall out of 26 participating teams

We took part in the Year 5 Cricket Tournament at The Britannic Cricket Ground on Tuesday 17th May 2016. The Tournament started at 10am and finished at 2pm – there were 26 teams participating throughout the day in a knockout tournament. We won our first 2 games convincingly and progressed to the latter stages of the tournament. We then played in the semi-final losing by only 2 runs. Our last game was to decide 3rd and 4th place – we won. Therefore, we finished 3rd overall out of 26 participating teams. We played very well as a team and demonstrated some excellent bowling, fielding and batting skills.
