Value Word – January

Our value word for January has been TOLERANCE so the whole school have been learning a song called “Talk It Through”.  The opening lines are particularly apt as the lyrics begin with “I’ve got rights and so have you, we have different points of view.” 

At the beginning of this month’s singing assembly, we talked about the meaning of tolerance in that although we all have differing opinions and beliefs we need to be tolerant of others whose views are different to ours. We need to be understanding of each other’s opinions.   This can be anything from religion to football teams! 

In the last half of our song, we divided the school in half so we could sing in two parts.  Listen carefully, and see if you can hear it!
