Y6 Residential – Day 1

The children have had a wonderful start to their residential today. They arrived full of excitement and went to explore their rooms straight away! They had to make their beds (with plenty of guidance for some of them!) and then, most importantly, find room for their snacks!

Miss Edward’s group then did archery and low ropes while Mrs Johnson’s group did high ropes and climbing. Everyone was really brave and did the very best they could. Some children were petrified but did it anyway!
This evening they enjoyed pizza for dinner then ended the day with some good old campfire games. Everyone had a wonderful time and we now have a new Banana Queen and King!

Love the photos…love the school…my daughter had THE best time ever! A massive Thank You to all staff that gave up their time to make this trip happen and to the staff at The pioneer centre! Also the year 6 class that helped make those memories that will stay with her for the rest of her life! Xx
