School Council Meeting

Paul, who came to do an assembly with our school last week about the regeneration of Druids Heath, visited with our school council today. He asked us what we could remember from the assembly:

Max – I remember the word regeneration. It is about something becoming new.
Jalees – I was really interested to find out about the changes that are happening around me.
Holly – Regeneration means like reborn and the assembly was about our local area.

The children explained to Paul about the regeneration of our new playground. Paul compared the process of the playground with the area around us changing.

School Council found our more about people involved in the regeneration project; Birmingham City Council, the public and architects. They were then asked to draw their favourite places in the area. They had some great ideas!

You can find out more about the project on Twitter – search for Druids Heath Together.
